Installing an aftermarket depth finder

Is it possible to install an aftermarket thru hull depth finder with an in dash display on a 2000 SEA-DOO GTX? I would like to be able to use the SEA-DOO for scouting areas to run my fishing boat.

Just saw this on another site where the guy does ocean fishing. It was installed in the lowest part of a Yamaha with 100% silicone
