Inspect Your Wiring!!

Today I randomly noticed the wiring harness for my power tilt, shown below...managed to get down between the corner of the battery and a bulkhead...really took a beating...all three wires were bare - don't know how it managed not to short out. For some reason that circuit isn't protected by fuse or circuit breaker...

Wow!

I found something similar a few weeks back. It was next to my fuse panel, and the wires were bare. Scary stuff, but at least mine was protected by a fuse.

I would agree

My bilge pump needed servive AND i am glad it did because it turned out 4 connections needed repiar that apppeared to be fine

EVERYTHING should be protected by a fuse or breaker! I hope you plan to put one in!
