Input yoke question

How in the bleep do I hold the shaft to loosten the nut on end of the input yoke? :confused: That thing is on there but good.

Maybe I'm getting too old, but I can't budge it. Guess I'm just not holding my mouth right. I'll give it another go.

clamp a long prybar in a vise then slide it through as Bondo said.

That nut is torqued down pretty good. an air impact gun is the way to go.

Thanks for the responses. I finally got it off and as I suspected, big groove on the seal surface. A new yoke and seal and I'll be back in business.

Order a new nut also. Merc OEM seal kits come with a new nut, but aftermarket kits don't.
