I'm getting closer to getting my boat in the water and noticed that the hulls taking some small damage from rocks and debris flying off tires. Thinking about building inner fenders for trailer with wood and carpet. Any ideas or suggestions?
That is fairly common on boat trailers around here.
I never looked closely at mine, but it appears to be some kind of plywood, covered
in bunk carpet and bolted to the frame and fender with a few welded on tabs.
