Inmar temperature gauge not working

I have a 2005 moomba mobius LS that I bought 2 weeks ago. The guy said his mechanic forgot to hook the temp gauge wires back up. There are 2 wires coming out of the wire tube that you can see in the first picture. One of them is not connected to anything. I have tried looking for a place for it to hook up but can't find anything. The bottom picture is where the other wire is connect. I am assuming there are 2 sensor probs. I tried google searching the location of the inmar temp probs with no luck. Please can anyone help??!? I have also tried switching the wires.

i don't know if both of those are temp or not. try grounding one to the engine block with the key on (engine doesn't have to be running) and see if the gauge moves. you might have to ground both but again, i'm not sure.

there's a moomba owner's forum where you can find help for your specific boat. there's alot more info about moomba's there than you'll ever find here. it's on the manufacturers website...look for Community and you'll find their forum. the folks there will know for sure how the wires should be.
