Inlet Hose ??

Hope someone can help
I am looking for a post / picture of the water inlet hose that goes from the outdrive THRU the transom and then on to the impeller in a Bravo 2 outdrive
I know I saw it somewhere but can seem to find it again
Anyone?

Any chance of a year, and the engine (the hose is related more to the engine than the drive)?

That would also be 3 parts, not one. The hose from the bellhousing to the connector, then another hose from the connector to the engine mounted raw water pump.

1993 7.4 454 with Bravo 2
It's the HOSE that goes THRU the transom, not the fitting, not the hose that goes from the fitting to the sea water pump
They are known to get cloged, and or get weak and collapse when under load which is what is happening to me.
I am going to install a thru hull to elimanate(sp) the problem

Yes, the water hose goes through the transom shield. This file should help.

This does shed a little light on how and what it looks like inside the drive and how the hose fits.
What I was looking for was a photo of a collapsed hose that I saw somwhere in a post where another poster had the same issues
