I intend to buy an inflatable boat, most likely a Zodiac 310 and need to get an outboard motor, preferably 8HP. Since it will be my first motor--and inflatable boat as well--I'd appreciate any suggestions as to which make of the motor I should buy. <br />All I can add is that weight is a very impotant factor for me (so I guess I will go with a two-stroke motor), I'm going to use the boat mainly for fishing, but not trolling. The only motor I'm a little familiar with is the Yamaha 8HP, it weights 59 lb and I wonder if there are any lighter motors (8HP)on the market. <br />Also, if you have any suggestions on inflatable boats, I'd love to hear them!
