Information Sea Ox 200C

Opportunity has come up to purchase a 1990 Sea Ox 200C/150 Johnson.Boat seems very clean and has been trailered for its original owner.Would be using it myself for bay and near shore fishing. I heard manufactuer has gone out of buisness but really shouldn't relate to this unless boat had a bad reputation. Most comments I have heard that it is a good line of boat. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks jjjm

jjjm,<br /> Hi,I'am familiar with Sea-Ox boats and can tell you they have over-built hulls,very well made,similiar to commercial boats.They use some type of hull building process which makes them very strong.The Sea-Ox boat brand had many competitors and their new boats were pretty pricey (compared to others in same size range).Good solid boat otherwise.I have an old '98 Offshore magazine which has a classified listing for a 1981 20' Sea Ox walkaround/150 Johnson/trailer for $7,995.Yes all 1981....
