From what I have heard from some of the fisherman on the river that I fish, they are good motors, they run very quiet, they are made by Nissan, or they make Nissan or whatever, but Nissan is a good name.

I have a 40hp. Great motor. Problem is local dealers don't stock any parts, they come from Texas in a few days.

they are great motors ! -our local commercial crabbers use 'em and wear the skegs and props down to nuttin' but nubs on the oyster beds and the motors keep on going ! we have 2 stores and we keep PLENTY of parts in stock but they just gather dust 'cause mostly we sell impellers and zincs-thats all that seems to wear out ! :D

Hey MM

It is true that Tohatsu makes the Nissan engines.

I have owned 2 25hp(one Tohatsu one Nissan) and both were supurb strong engines. I now own a 90hp Nissan and as long as i have a good dealer I will never own anything else. (never is a long time) LOL.

It would not bother me to buy Tohatsu or Nissan again. :D
