I have a Gale Products manufactured 15 hp (?). engine: Mod. GG18802A, Ser. 36X869034 <br />Previous post suggests age ca. 1962.<br /><br />I understand Gale was OMC. Do OMC parts from same year interchange? I need a carb, and cowl.<br /><br />Where can I find parts for these engines? <br />What is a suitable manual?<br /><br />Great site!<br /><br />Rex

Howdy, Rex.<br /><br />I think most, if not all of your parts interchange with that series, including '62 JohnnyRude 15s. <br /><br />Good luck.

Thanks JB, that's good news! Those OMC 15s are nice, rugged engines.<br />Now to find a manual! (one's on sale on ebay, currently going for $57)! For all small OMC.

RexinAZ; Try J.C. Whitney, their manuals run from $19.95 to $21.00. I ordered three and they were Clymers by Intertec Publishing. I hope this solves your problem, $57.00 sounds a little much to me. Happy Boating. Hal
