Firstly, to all the advice received so far - thanks to all.<br /><br />I have contacted by local dealer regarding some specs for my 1979 8HP yamaha but claims to only have specs from 1984 onwards.<br /><br />I have three questions: 
<br />1)What is the correct spark plug for this motor?<br />2)What is the standard prop required? (current is a 9x9)<br />3)What is the recommended operation rpm?<br /><br />I bought the motor from a guy selling up in Zimbabwe. It was used as a trolling motor previously and I suspect it was set up for this purpose.
