feathercrafter:<br /><br />I don't know exactly what year but it's from the late 60's into the mid to late 70's. The hp rating is rated at the crankshaft not the prop (Like today's motors). You are getting about 90hp at the prop. This motor weighs about 325#. It is a inline 6 and if you have a tach try to keep it as close to 5500 rpm as you can get. Have fun with that motor and change the water pump at least every other year.<br /><br />Craig
