I have been having some issues with my motor and have found many many threads about the same thing. Problem is most people dont post what they did to fix the problem, so then we get a buch of threads about the same thing and still no answers for future people with the same problem.

PLEASE post the soultion to your problems.

Sorry, had to vent. this motor is driving me nuts

Don't be shy. Try messaging or emailing the OP.
I hate incomplete threads. Everyone tries to help and wants to know and then.... nothing.

Another point, if someone takes the time to help you, let them know if it worked.

Silvertip was extremely helpful and typed a lot of good info when I had a non working gas guage in my pontoon.

When I finally got it working, I thanked him in the thread and explained in detail what solved the problem.

After I went boating for the first time with a working fuel gauge, I PM'd him again to thank him. He mentioned that a lot of times people ask for help, get a good answer, never reply if it worked and worse yet, never give thanks for the help. < -- my emphasis
