Hey, just leave your hammer at the door 8)

My wife is an expert on all drugs, their side affects, usage, and interactions with other drugs... LOL, she trains other nurses in just those subjects, she's also a trained ER nurse.

If they know how to save your life, they also know how to take it... goes with the job.

I don't want you to get the idea that any Nurse is a cold hearted killer.

Last weekend we were driving back home from Portland, OR. Wife was driving. A bird on the freeway hit our windsheild at 70 mph and I thought we were going to wreck because she was crying so hard, she made me catch a rat in the house, take it 2 miles away and release it... I've seen her cup a spider in her hands and release it outside... I've also seen her cut the throut of a deer beside the road that had massive internals, broken back, and both back legs from being hit by a car.

Not a killer, just someone that deals in life and death each day as a job. Not cold hearted, just practical.

Re: In the news....

Something most don't know about the Doc/Nurse relationship. When the Doc prescribes 3 times as much pain killer as the patient can live thru, or the Doc prescribes conflicting meds that could have an adverse effect on the patient ( 3 blood thinners for a bleeder) the nurse is responcible, not the Doc... she should have caught it goes the argument... BS. but true.

A keeper?... bet your ass, even if she was unemployed. And they wonder why there is a shortage in Nursing staff.
