Went fishing yesterday with Scott, our new 18 year old son (Long Story). Anyhoo, we get to a spot in East Bay where I cast my net for bait; where a little slough flows out into the bay. The tide was just starting to flow out. We caught our bait and decided to fish where the slough was flowing out into the bay. Scott had the first hook up with a 4' black tip shark. Next he boated a 24" speck. Then I boated a 20" speck and the bite slowed down. After an hour we caught two rat reds, and a legal flounder. After that it was nothing but cat fish so we pulled up and headed home. It was good day of fishing.
<br />Just about any day of fishing is a good day.. Add in the company of good friends and/or loved ones, that makes it even better...
