force 125 1988
140 on all cylinders
all 4 sparks... also if revove any spak plug boot immediate reaction.

here is the problem in neutral I could go until 3000rpms

in forward gear I go until 2000rpms and a full bogging down action.

the only thing out of the ordinary was when I had to shift in gear it had a very hard time but after a playing back and forth with a little more strength it now goes in gear. now it goes easy in gearto forward neutral or reverse. is there a clutch of some sorts that could not engage. can it be in the gear case?

or it could be the cdi that under load its not responding?

thx mike

Re: in gear does not want to move

If your having touble shifting, unhook the connectors and see if it shifts at both locations(drive and shifter).
Possible the cables are bad?
The gears have no clutch, but an item called a dog gear or clutch dog.(not a clutch)
The bogging, could be water in the gas.
The gas lines collapsing.
The fuel pump diaphram gone bad.
Any inline connectors? They can leak and suck air?
