I'm in the process of restoring a 1990 Tracker Nitro bass boat. Right now I'm going through the breaker panel and making sure everything is wired properly to find out what works and what doesn't. A previous owner tore through this boat quite a bit and messed with the wiring so its becoming quite a chore to sort through.
One of the components I'm dealing with is a factory installed in-dash flasher by Eagle. I got power to the unit, but it only flashes on and off once when flip the switch on the breaker panel. I turn the switch on, it flashes once, I turn the switch off, it flashes once. That's it. Is that a sign that the unit is broken, or is it just because the boat is in the trailer in my driveway and is not getting any readings?
I'm not familiar with flashers except for what I've read in the last couple days... any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris
