Kenyon- the 'boat stove' people. Veteran owned, US company, located in CT.
My Vista came equipped with a 2-burner alky electric stove that obviously hadn't been used for a long time before I bought it. Trying to figure out the alcohol part last year, I called, and a nice young guy walked me through it. We realized I was missing the wicks, so after explaining how it all worked he threw a half dozen (it uses 2) into an envelope and mailed 'em to me for the price of postage.
This year I'm having a few problems with it, and with some more research I realized I could rebuild the entire alcohol half of the stove for about $200, versus $700-800 for a new complete stove. Called again, explained what I was trying to do, and we went through the parts list. He told me it'd be a good idea to have some extra hardware (C-clips) and a new pair of springs that control the 'snuffers'. He said, 'I don't have individual part numbers for those (they're included in other sub-assemblies that I didn't need), but I'm going to assemble your order today- I'll just grab them off the shelves and toss them into the package.' When I asked him about press-fitting the new reservoir tanks into the unit, he said, 'You can do it. Obviously, we use a press, but I've done it myself with a block of wood and a rubber mallet. You'll be okay.'
I've dealt with the super-friendly receptionist Stacey twice, and 2 different customer service guys, and hung up smiling both times. They're just a good outfit.
