61 RUDE LARK III 40 hp MODIFIED TO A LONG SHAFT WATER DRIBBELS OUT Is that because it's been modified and has to travel 20 inches or is a sign of inspection and water pump kit?

There is a weep hole in the lower unit to make sure the water dains when removed from the water. Is that what you are speaking of?<br /><br />Bob

If you have doubts about the impeller, I would start with that. Did it work properly before it was modified? When was the impeller changed last?<br /><br />Dymo
