Impeller Question

I am getting ready to order an impeller kit for my 1976 Mercruiser 120 with what is apparently called the pre-alpha outdrive. Where can I find the model number for the outdrive? I found the serial number 4444943 but that isn't helping me a whole lot. I need a new impeller kit for the old girl this year and this is my first I/O. Always had outboards before this. Sorry for the stupid questions but you all somehow always have the answers that save the day.

Naw,..... It's not called a pre-alpha,..... it's an MC-1 drive,......

There's only 2 different raw water pumps used in an MC-1,.....

The early has an extra flush-port in it, the newer is the same as the R-drive, the MR-drive, 'n the Alpha 1 drive,.....
