Impeller for 6hp Chrysler Model 64H9E Serial #3236

I've looked for hours on the web trying to locate an impeller for a 6hp Chrysler outboard Model 64H9E Serial #3236 without luck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

You might want to recheck that model number. I dont see it on any motor list.

Yes - that's what the motor has on it. The impeller size I need is 1/2 inch ID by 1 1/4 inch OD. I think the motor is 1977 or 1976 model. Thanks.

The closest model number I can find is from1980 and is 64H0F. The mercury number for that impeller is 47-F525065-1 and the cost is 25 bucks. My guess is your motor is from 1979 however no parts place calls it out as if it never existed. The number above should work. There were only two different impellers for the 6 horse and I believe both were interchangable for that motor.

My 6hp has the model number 64H9E as well. The serial number is 5661 and it is a 1979.

I need, I thnk, an impeller too. The motor runs for a few minutes then stops as if it were over heating.
