Impeller change on nissan 8

DO you have to take the lower unit down or is it behind the prop?

I am pretty sure you have to drop the lower unit on an 8hp. About a 1 hour job as long as nothing is frozen, rusted etc.<br /><br />**Buy a repair manual off ebay or from another source - best money spent on ANY outboard.
