IMP Aztec boating/towing question

Hi, I'm a first time boater, long time over thinker, so I have a few possibly stupid questions to ask about a boat I am getting. I think I have most of them figured out but would like it if someone who knows better than me could help/reassure me.
I was planning on getting a simple 12ft boat to just get me on the water to do some fishing in, but I was offered a free, mid 1970's (told 74 or 78) 21ft imp Aztec, from a family member. Its in good condition needs a few minor things, but at the price I wont complain. All I need to do is drive 300 miles to get. I've found very little information on this boat but from what I have found, it has an estimated weight of 2700-3500lbs and it has a dual axle trailer and read to estimate the weight at 1200lbs. That puts me at just under 5000lbs. I plan on towing it with my Ram 1500 5.7L V8 2wd crew cab with a tow package. Listed towing capacity of 9500lbs, but I know that isn't ideal.

So my questions are, do the numbers I have look accurate? Should I be worried about the boat being too much for my truck both towing and getting it out of the water? Does anyone have any information or know where I can get info on this boat? Thank you for reading, any input is appreciated!

Re: IMP Aztec boating/towing question

Our family's first ever boat was an IMP Aztec. It was a 1968. The boat is actually 20'.

Your truck will tow it easily!

Before you put a bunch of money into it, make sure drive and engine are ok. I am guessing it will have an OMC stringer which isn't the best thing to have.
