I'm Getting an old Nissan 5hp

I'm totally an old Johnson & Evinrude guy but I'm buying a sailboat a long ways away and it comes with an old Nissan 5hp. The owner told me late 80's or so. He said it worked when he last used it a year ago (don't they all say that!).

I have fairly extensive knowledge of the old Johnson/Evinrudes but know nothing about Japanese outboards.

I have attached a pic, the only one I have. Can anyone tell me anything about it. I will be driving to pick it up in a few weeks and might want to take some basic parts, like impeller, plugs(s) etc, once I get the model #.

And as you can see, it's a salty

Any input/history on this engine whether good or bad? Thanks a lot.

It doesn't look like a Nissan to me. It looks like an old Yamaha or Suzuki design.
