18R,<br /><br />I frequently admire your insights and it isn't like I set the TVO to record iman xyz denouncing violence but I haven't seen any unqualified denouncement of the violence. Most of the alphabet networks are nothing more than left wing megaphones and this would seem ideal venues for not a quoted denouncement but a personal and unqualified denouncement. I do admit most of the news I get is from the standard sources, but am I to assume from your post that these sources are not interested in presenting a situation accurately?<br /><br />My best friend for many years was lebaneese. His parents met at lebaneese convention that is an annual event held around the country. Lebaneese men were encouraged to marry lebaneese women. This was one of the most educated and warm and loving families I have ever been associated with. I was even invited to one of these get togethers, but declined. Over the years I razzed him all the time and I got the rock headed swede comments comming back. I didn't realize I was promoting some kind of White Power racist slurr. I even ribbed his parents with the bomb throwing stuff. Never a raised eye just a belly laugh. They owned their own advertising agency and the entire family was gifted not only in business but the arts. This is just one of the experiences that leads me to believe that those most concerned with being politically correct are the ones fostering ongoing hostilities. A moral "king of the hill" if you will. Religion tends to bring out the best as well as the worst in people. Those who understand that religion is between an individual and his god. One no better than the other. But when someone uses my religion to perpatrate and justify their actions I have no hesitation in calling them a charletin. <br /><br />Humor is a high form of communication. I just don't get why people take themselves so seriously they can't take a joke. And I don't see towelhead as a racial slurr. It may be offensive to some, but has nothing to do with race.

I was listening to him one day and he also seems to be all over this "evil" thing. And I have to admit he did a very good job debating his reasoning in fighting "evil" and in the process defending GWB. I suspect that is the reason why you also are on this "evil" crusade. It's much easier to defend GWB in the context of him fighting "evil" than defending no weapons of mass destruction, Iraq having no ties to 9/11, no aluminum tubes, no proof of a sale of yellow cake, no OBL, defending illegal wiretaps, outing CIA agents..........on and on and on. <br /><br />So you keep on taking the cheap and easy debate and keep on bringing up "evil" and we'll stick to the real issues.<br />

When the left is referred to as "Marxist" or "Lennonist" it is in reference to the philosophy. After all, they were the authors of the Socialist, Communist doctrine. The same doctrine that the Liberal Left adheres to either in part or totality, yet they are offended when labled as such because they really don't want people to know their true beliefs. <br /><br />"Nazi" on the other hand is simply code for "jack booted thug, racist, homophobe, murdering, Jew killer". Which makes no sense logically, because conservative philosophies do not endure any such behavior. It also belittles what Nazi's really did do when they were in power, by making light of the word's definition. <br /><br />Then again, no surprise there as one of the Socialist/Communist techniques was to revise history to make it serve their purpose. And lo and behold, what's happening now? Revisionists attempting to pursuade the masses that the Holucost never really happened.

I was thinking of Chevy Chase and Jane Curtain.<br /><br />I'm not really into name-calling - I'm more into kind of being a ********, so I thought it would be clever to use asterisks. Sort of a generic childish taunt, without actually insulting anybody.
