I guess I was initiated tonight. My 'Algore can't get no respect' post was unceremoniously poofed. I didn't even rate a "LOCKED'. T'was my first thread and/or first post to have ever been censured.

No doubt my toe has scratched the line, many a time. Often I could sense the gritting teeth of the mods as their finger hovered over the Button.

Well suffice it to say, I speak from my heart and wish no man ill. But I feel like Steve McQueen in the Great Escape. I'll keep pushing the limits as long as issues exist that I don't deem good for America.

The wife and I started, nurtured, and planted an Avocado seed in our yard 5 years ago.... it was protected by a 6' fence from the winter South winds, snuggled between the house and that fence, with a full Southern exposer, and protected from the summer North winds, and got to be over 6 ft. tall......It had leaves 10 inches long and 4 inches wide....

For 5 years that seed weathered all that nature could give it.... but a few weeks ago, it was killed... there are 10" x 4" leaves all over the yard.... the main tree is dead.... killed by the lowest temps I've ever seen here, and I've been here for 35 years.

I've never seen snow as often as I've seen it this year.... it has been cold for this part of the country.
, day after day, after day.

The cold snap that killed our tree was way out of the ordinary....... 17 to 20, for 3 days.... that is unheard of here... Global Warming? We can all hope,,,, it’s still cold as a witches...... here.

Hey, maybe my thread was not poofed after all. Maybe it was amongst the 'lost 27 pages'. Would that mean I'd have to have the engraving on my forehead removed?8)

I guess that must make me a bonafide poofee. Not quite sure, however, why it wasn't just locked. Maybe the mods just ran out of padlocks. They sure have using a lot of them lately.

It wasn't that obnoxious a post or subject unless someone snuck in when I wasn't lookin' and pizened it.:%
