Hello,<br /><br />I have recently swithced from a Chrysler 55HP to a Mercury 450 (1962 45HP). My Chrysler had dash mounted ignition switch, but my mercury has the ignition switch at the control unit. Can I remove the ignition from the control and mount it in the dash? or can I use the Chrysler ignition switch that is still there? <br /><br />I don't have a manual for this engine yet so I am not sure what all the wires are for.
