I have an 1989 OMC 5.0. Anything I should note before installing an ignition tune up kit(rotor, condensor, distributor cap, and contact set)? Anything I should avoid doing?
Dunno maybe its just me, but I like to look at the plugs and determine if the motor is running OK or if there are potential issues with the fuel air mixtures. I also have a bad habit of running cold water down the carb throat while running to clean out valves. Then I proceed with everything else.
