I was reading another forum and I have been having trouble getting my 1990 Johnson 140 VRO from getting started. It was running last weekend just fine but my mechanic said that it could be the kill switch. Since I don't have the cap for the kill switch. I heard that you can trouble shoot by seeing if that is the cause ny disconneting the kill swithc at the power pack or by dissconnecting the black and yellow wires going into it. I would like to try that so I know if all I hvae to do is get a cap. Anyone know what color wire to disconnect at the power pack?? Or will disconnecting the black and yellow ones be easier to test to see if it fires. Thanks again guys!
