Ignition question non distributor and distributor

Quick question about ignition controls. Can I use the wiring harness that comes on my 1979 115 non distributor with a 197x distributor ignition motor?
I think the boat side wiring harness matches up nut am not positive. Will look tonight when I get home.

Thanks, I have been having some issues lately and am not feeling too well about what I have taken on.

If the quick disconnect plug will fit, it should work fine. The only difference is the dissy motor has a white ign accessory wire on the switchbox, and the ADI motor has the orange killer wire on the switchbox.

You might trace the orange wire from the switchboxes to the male pin on the motor. Now find the matching female and make sure it is grounded when the key is off. You never know if someone messed with the boat harness.
