Ignition issue

Ok have a 115 mercury 6cyl ob308662 believe it's a 1988 had no spark on 1and 2 had spark on 3456 changed cdi box for 123 got spark back on 1 but not 2
Swapped out leads from 1and 2 coils problem moved so coils fine could it be a bad box or could the pick up or stater be causing it to not now have spark in 2

What does the troubleshooting on CDI electronics web site say? That motor has 1 stator, 2 switchboxes and 3 triggers.

Switchboxes provide spark for cylinders 1,3,5 and 2,4,6 respectively. Maybe a trigger is bad?
