Ignition issue? Can jump solenoid to start.

Motor does nothing when key is turned including not activating choke. I can start it by jumping the solenoid. Key has to be in on position for it to run so obviously some sort of signal is coming from the key. Throttle and everything else works fine as well. I'm not sure what to look at next to confirm which part to replace???? Any help is appreciated.

Look for a fuse in the hot wire that goes from the motor to the ignition switch.
