Ignition Amplifier needed or advice 1986 Mercruiser 5.7liter 260hp

Hi, My boat will not go..no fire. Coil is new. distributor sensor replaced. batteries are good. getting fuel. new plugs, new engine. It ran for 25 mins and died. the tech thinks it is the ignition amplifier/module. Technician bypassed ignition key and went direct to coil with 12 volt power. Anyone have any suggestions...Thanks,

Wow.. I just had the same issues last week, and did everything that you have done... I found a local boat salvage yard and he had an ICM module that he let me try and it worked.. They are not cheap either. The cheapest I could find was $300, so that's what i ended up giving him. Hope this helps.

Oh and i forgot to mention... When i took the module out, I notice a drip of water on it, so I started messing with it and squeezed quite a bit of water out of it.. I guess it was just condensation??
