How much ignition advance for a 1992 2.0L looper?

at what rpm should I set this up.

running 96 octane unleaded at 40:1 with XD-50 oil. But I have 98 octane available at slightly higher cost.

heads and block have been milled compression readings around 130 psig.

I want to go fast but still be reliable

Once you play with the compression ratio and fuel, all timing specs are meaningless. It's a crapshoot. Go with spec if you dare. Advance 2 from that if you're really into gambling. Retard 2 to be safer. The most accurate way to find timing is at full throttle. If you can do that safely, that'd be my advice. Otherwise follow the steps in the service manual. If you don't already have one, shame on you. ;)
