If I replacePowerPack will it go faster
I got a 60 hp Evinrude I just got running good after fixing some shorts in the old wires and some other stuff. But it seems that it could go faster or should go faster I think. I know I could check the timing and also the compression. But I Question is " The wires that come from the flywheel to a module (I found out it called a power pack)and from there to the coils. Well if I replace that Power Pack module with a brand new one will that give more power". It's a 1980 engine and the power pack has never been replaced I think.<br />Then again the engine is running good and I could leave alone would be fine. But would like to know what you all think.
