Can someone please help me I got a 115hp johnson 91 modle start it and it reves up then dies some one said it could be in the linkage I checked it and everything seems to be good

Is this motor new to you? Have you done a spark and compression test? Ask the mod to move this to the J/E forum

Dont know much about OB motors but it sure sounds like a fuel issue. Maybe filter, gas line, pump?

Plus are new checked gas line filter and pump

Compression 135 120 235 140 spark is good could it be a gasket leak

need a known good screw-in style compression tester. Pick up a spark tester (open air adjustable -- around $10 or so) at an auto parts store. See if you can borrow a compression tester there too.
