Idle problems

I have an 1991 Suzuki 150 super six oil injection and 3 carbs. It runs great but started to not want to idle in gear. Sounds like it is running out of gas. I checked the pump and is getting soft when it wants to die. Everything else runs perfect. I am going to buy a new pump and change out the fuel filters. can I check the fuel pump to see if it is good? Or do you just get a new one? If you need anymore info please let me know.<br />Thanks in advance.....

Just rebuild it, about $20-$30 US depending on model.

Ok, I rebuilt my two fuel pumps, cleaned fuel filter and replace the fuel line, replaced the primer pump and change my lower end oil today. Was not too dificult at all. Hope this helps, I will be taking it out to the lake tomorrow. I will let you folk know how it went. Any more ideas would be greatly appreciated.<br />Thanks
