my classic 50 (40hp) will start up and idle fine for about 15 seconds then low idles until it dies. Starting it back up typically requires choking and a little bit of cold start. Any suggestions. Also, when cleaning the carbs on this motor, I pull the carbs and really don't know what else to. I spray all over in and out with carb cleaner then compressed air. The only thing I am taking off is the bowl. What else? Also in one carb the " disk" thin on the inside ( closest to the engine) has a small bend on one edge, is this a big deal?
