I need to know how to adjust teh idle speed on a 2000 Johnson 90 hp motor. After shop installed new powerpack and sensor, it idles low and sometimes cuts out so I want to bump it up a little. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sure. You advance the idle timing. You DO NOT adjust screws to "prop open" the throttle plates a bit....like a car....
However, you have optical ignition. A bit more complicated.

There is a wheel with slots in it up under there....adjustment there.....????

Optical ignition guys....how do you advance idle timing? Probably move the optical sensor a bit, but I am not sure.

A factory manual will tell you for sure.

at the top of the motor is a plastic arm with a roller at the end of it which advaces the timing. You will see a phillips screw
and a washer. There is a slot such that when the screw is losened you can advance the initial timing for idle moving the screw in the slot to the right or front of motor which increases the idle.Do not adjust the lever which is pushed by the
roller lever-this is max timing and should only be adjusted by an OMC dealer. Normally the idle speed would not be affected by replacing the ignition box/sensor.The head temp sensor does affect idle and should be checked.
