IDENTIFYING OLD EVINRUDE

I have an old evinrude 3 hp I need parts for the serial number is 3012-01881. I can't find the model number.

Ziton..... 3012 is the model number and identifies the engine as a 1952/54 3hp Evinrude. The OMC Guide Book does not list a specific year.

The only thing I can find is 3012 (the model #) 3hp 1952-54 Evinrude.

Take a look here:
http://www.old-omc.de/index2.html

and see if you can match it to a picture......on the left side of the page they have catologs of most of the years the 3hp motor was made.
