Identify this motor??

Help me. Ive got a Evinrude V6 crossflow with no HP emblem on the cowling. Can anybody help with yr. and HP

235840 comes out to be a 1978 235HP. Not sure what the R is.

r is a part change in the middle of the year. just shows up in parts books.

Last year for the small bore 235. Not a bad motor for a crossflow. What parts do you need?

Timer base, The part number on the old one is 582122 I think. The last 2 numbers are double stamped and kind of hard to read
