Hello Forum,

Can someone help me identify the sterndrive on this 1971 Reinell Cabin Cruiser?

We need things like the Tilt motor, steering cable assembly, and obviously we will need other stuff as we get into the project more.

It has a Chevy V8 350 225hp With OMC kit on it.

Any further info you need from me I will try to gather. There are no serial numbers on the stern drive or other identifying marks.

Thanks for your help!!

you already have,
it is "the OMC Sterndrive", often called an electric shift stringer. and more specifically, your model should be a "225HP" which would be a 307, not a 350
Problem is, they didn't make a 225HP unit in 1971 (there was 215, and a 235) so there is a mismatch of years - there was 225 in 1972
All parts books for your year and all years back to 1968 are online with exploded views, parts pricing and availability from any Evinrude dealer at shop.evinrude.com
