Identify 150 Evinrude

Hello iBoaters,
Can someone help me with how to read the sticker properly? It reads BE150ELEDB.
My research showed it as B = Belgium (WTH is it doing in Australia?)
E = Evinrude (as opposed to Johnson I'm assuming?)
150 = horsepower (easy)
EL = ?????
ED = 1996
B = ???????

B=model run or suffix (not a significant digit whatsoever to the consumer.)
