I was given 2 18 hp Mercury motors. 1 is a long shaft and 1 is a short shaft. The numbers i find on it is A723930 (long) and 7200934 (short) Id like to know the age and hp of them. They say 18 but I cant find too much info on them. Thanks

The serial numbers appear to be for a 1987 20 HP model. If you look at the first posting in the forum it is titled "what year is my merc". You will find your serial numbers in the 87 20 hp section. The 18hp cowls are likely not original.
