I had a man to replace the transit in my 14' john boat in doing the work he has lost my I'D tag. I have the HIN or Boat Serial # . Can anyone tell me how I can get a new I'D for my boat so I can register it to fish public waters and rivers?

An engraving shop could make you a new plate

Had dozens of plates printed & engraved by a trophy shop.

Ask about sublimation. It's a process to print on metal. HIN & Ser# should be engraved on the printed plate. You could also just get a printed plate & DIY stamped #s.
