I'd like to know the year of my 4 hp mercury??

Hello,<br /> I have an old 4 HP mercury with a serial number 3938502. I am trying to find out the year of it so it is easyer to find parts and to let a repair person know the year if they have to work on it. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could let me know. Hope one of you Mercury guys can help me out !!<br /> Thanks!

Hi,
I'm in the same boat. I've just been given two 4hp Mercs. Serial# 3169443 & #3036041. Both aren't functioning at the moment ,but I'd like to identify years so I can get Manuals & spares.
