Re: Ice Fishing Stories
My old fishing buddy Pat, passed away last year, but he left some good memories behind. Unfortunately, our trip up to Iowa to try ice fishing is not one of them. Now neither one of us knew too much about that kind of fishin, but we figured as long as it was fishin', we could hang in there with the best of 'em. As usual we stopped at the local tackle shop to get the low down. The nice old man runnin' the place sold us a whole buncha stuff including a couple of ice picks. Now Pat, not being as dignified as myself, wanted to ask right away what them ice picks were for. I told Pat not to worry cause we could just figure some things out for ourselves. Now me and Pat had fished in the hot sun when it was 100* in Alabama, and we had gone upriver when it was sleeting with wind out of the northeast. I figure we were just about as tough as they come.:::::: My hats off to you dudes!:::::: Now I could lie to ya, and tell ya how we caught a whole mess of whatever it is you gentlemen catch up there. But I wont. Cause real fishermen never lie:::::Truth is we worked all weekend with them icepicks and never got a hole big enough to launch the old Bass Bomber. I never was so wore out, so froze, so downright miserable in my whole life.:::: YOU IS SOME TOUGH CATS.:::::HAVE A NICE DAY-G.
