Folks I spent a couple weeks joining boat forums (many disgusting)
And never got an answer. Until I found Iboats. Not only were the people very friendly.
I had the answer with in 12 hours.

Rather than go through that again. I figured it would save time and trouble to ask here.

This would not likely be a forum that I would post much on.

I?m looking for information (right now) for two weapons.
One is a Winchester lever model 1886. Serial nm 99444 so I think it was made in 1895. ??
Chambered in 45-90.

Another is a Luger P.08 Serial nm 3671 with all the parts marked with 71
9 mm?

These are the type of questions I have.

Thanks

Hey thanks to both of you.
I will find out some time this week if the Luger will remain with me for awhile.

http://www.graybeardoutdoors.com/index.php This has a great collection of gun people that should be able to help with the 45-70 (a personal favorite of mine).

As far as the Luger..... I had a matched numbered S-42 from 1939 and it was hard finding an honest forum that was active. When I went to sell it...... it proved there were many thieves out there lurking on the forum.

DO NOT accept a certified check from someone you don't know. An unplated Luger with matching serial nos on the parts is hard to find.
