We have a new winner for the coveted Starcraft Splash of the Year award. The 2015 winner Hayko1971 has turned another one of our beloved Starcraft tin boats into a work of art.

What Hayko had to start with was a a faded shadow of her former glory.. a vintage SuperSport 160..

It begins in March 2015 and in what seems like to most a whirlwind complete restoration in record time Hayko turns the old SuperSport into a shining jewel of the lake, splashing her in June 2015!

She turned out really nice. I'm always amazed at how people start out with little to no knowledge on boat repair, and by the time they're finished with their projects they have turned into really good restorations. Better than factory in almost every way, not to mention adding improvements that the rest of us only wish we had thought of. Hayko's SS is certainly a good example of this, and well deserving of SOTY. Congratulations Hayko.
