I joined a week or so ago and posted about some issues I am having with my 3.0L. Bomar 76 replied and I saw he didn't live to far. He told me he would stop by to take a look. He stopped by today and now I know which direction to head with the repairs. He is very knowledgable and after my repairs I hope to be able to meet up with him on the water some day. So Thank You Very Much iboats for the introduction!

I had the same experience as well. Last year when I joined, Tashasdaddy responded and I found out he lived close to me. I was able to go over to his shop and he let me "apprentice" my own repairs. Always good to find helpful people on here.

It was great meeting you and I was glad to offer my advice....I think you will be fine with what we discussed.

But be forewarned...I am not the most well liked member here.
Have plenty of PM's from other members to prove it.
